Which comparison answers your question?
- Same brand, different borough: the three 99 Favor Taste addresses publish separate hot pot and BBQ-combination prices.
- Buffet vegetables versus meat plates: Spring separates buffet items and ordered entrees. Confirm the cost of the meat plates you want.
- Wagyu shabu: Mikiya’s Flushing page identifies the format, but a verified current set price is still needed.

Broth choices change the order
| Source example | Published distinction | Practical question |
|---|---|---|
| 99 Favor Taste menu | Individual, shared and divided pots; its instructions describe chicken/pork-based soups. | Which broth ingredients and surcharges apply to your chosen pot? |
| Spring menu | Dashi contains bonito and kelp. Its vegetarian broth is mushroom and vegetables. | Choose a named broth rather than assuming every clear soup is vegetarian. |
| Happy Lamb US brand site | Bone-marrow broth and lamb-focused hot pot. | Ask the Flushing branch about its local package, broth fee and inclusions. |

Four questions to ask before ordering
- Is the price per person, per pot or per item?
- Are broth, sauce-bar access and the selected meat plates included?
- Does the whole table need the same package?
- Is there a seating limit, leftover-food charge or minimum party size?
These rules are not confirmed uniformly across the seven branches. A policy from one restaurant, overseas branch or old menu cannot fill that gap.
Hot pot, mala dry pot and clay-pot rice
| Preparation | What the meal involves | How to compare the bill |
|---|---|---|
| Hot pot / shabu-shabu | Ingredients cooked in a broth pot at the table. | Package or individual ingredients, plus any separately priced broth and extras. |
| Mala dry pot | A prepared spicy dish; Lao Jie’s online order names a fatty-beef version for one. | One takeaway dish is not a dine-in hot pot package. |
| Hong Kong clay-pot rice | Rice cooked in a pot with toppings. | A rice dish rather than a pot of broth for dipping ingredients. |
