Clay pot rice, casserole or noodles?

Hong Kong-style clay pot rice cooks rice with toppings in a pot; the toasted bottom is a familiar feature. The Woks of Life’s version uses preserved meat and a finishing sauce. That recipe gives context, not evidence about a NYC restaurant’s heat source or cooking method.

A pot in the photo does not settle the serving method

The E Noodle menu photographs show clay vessels. They do not establish whether a takeout order includes that vessel or guarantee the same crisp rice bottom after transport. Ask about the container, cooking time and sauce before ordering.
