Three rice dishes.
Different bowls.
Clay pot rice, fried rice and congee are separate choices. The Brooklyn menu also uses “Clay Pot” for casseroles, so choosing only by the heading can lead you to a different dish.

| Meat over rice or fried rice | Rice Dishes | A platter or a wok-fried rice dish rather than a rice pot. |
| Rice porridge | Congee | The bowl is listed as congee with a named topping. |
| A casserole | Clay Pot | The category includes casserole dishes, not just rice. |
Clay pot rice is a rice dish, not a general hot pot
In Hong Kong, clay pot rice is known for rice cooked in a pot with toppings; a crisp bottom is part of the appeal. Hong Kong Tourism Board describes that crust at the charcoal-cooked Sheung Hei restaurant. That is culinary context, not a claim that E Noodle uses charcoal or produces an identical result.

What to look for in Brooklyn
The dedicated rice-pot section lists toppings such as Chinese sausage, spare ribs and chicken. Elsewhere, the menu has meat-over-rice plates and casseroles. Compare the complete name instead of treating every hot bowl as the same order.

Congee: rice porridge with a topping
Congee is a rice-porridge preparation. It is not a noodle soup and it differs in form from a plate of fried rice. On this menu, the congee section is a separate set of bowls.
- For a poultry bowl, look for the chicken wording.
- For a preserved-egg option, look for century egg paired with pork or fish.
- For a plain bowl, ask directly; a mild-looking title may still name seafood.
A dried-scallop bowl appears on the menu. That is a useful reason to read the topping even when you are looking for something simple.

Rice pot or fried rice?
Choose a rice-pot title if that is the format you want. Choose a fried-rice title if you want a wok-fried rice dish. Toppings alone do not identify the method: similar proteins can appear in several sections.
