Dim sum
in Chinatown.
A short comparison of three restaurant sources, with the details that affect a visit: address, published hours and how to check the menu.
Public sources checked October 10, 2026
Nom Wah: party size changes the plan
The restaurant lists daily hours of 11 AM to 9 PM. Its reservation rules specify parties of three to five on Monday through Thursday via Resy; parties of two are walk-ins. Read those rules before assuming that any available table can be booked online.

Golden Unicorn: check the day
The website lists a 9 AM opening on Saturday and Sunday and 10 AM on weekdays. It presents itself as a Cantonese restaurant with dim sum service. Those whole-restaurant hours do not establish when every dim sum item is available.

Dim Sum Go Go: the Chinatown address
The site lists 5 East Broadway, 212-732-0797 and daily hours of 11 AM to 9 PM. It links to a separate Chinatown menu and describes dishes as made to order. Use the address-specific menu when checking an item.

A useful comparison before leaving
- Compare the same dish names, not only photographs.
- Check whether the stated hours cover dim sum service or the whole restaurant.
- For a group, read the restaurant’s actual booking rules.
- Use published menu prices at the time of ordering; platform and dine-in prices can differ.
These notes describe source information. They do not turn borrowed reviews into our own tasting results.
Menus, serving counts and visiting rules
Published menu examples checked October 10, 2026. Online-order and restaurant PDF prices are different channels. Serving weights are not stated. Prices can change.
Golden Unicorn warns that online and restaurant prices may differ, with tax and applicable service charges excluded. Its egg-yolk buns specify three pieces; the pork buns do not state a count. Compare preparation and filling before comparing the price.
