A letter can be a price band, not a portion
Asian Jewels' linked 2025 PDF assigns shrimp-pork siu mai to L ($6.99), shrimp dumplings to T ($7.39), and steamed roast-pork buns to M ($5.99). The PDF prints four siu mai, four shrimp dumplings and three buns. The letter and the number answer different questions.
Royal Queen's undated PDF uses its own price bands. Its M price is $3.95 in that document; that does not make it the same price or portion as Asian Jewels' M dish. The Royal Queen PDF also lists tea surcharges. Check the restaurant's current menu before using either PDF as a bill estimate.
Cantonese dim sum and soup dumplings are different choices
Har gow, siu mai, rice rolls and char siu buns form one useful Cantonese order. Che Li's menu section named “Homemade Dim Sum” instead includes six-piece pork soup dumplings and pan-fried pork buns. Its Shanghai/Jiangnan examples are a separate tradition, rather than proof that it offers Cantonese carts.
- A steamed shrimp dumpling: compare its printed filling and serving count.
- A soup dumpling: broth is inside the wrapper.
- A rice roll: check the filling and whether it is steamed or pan-fried.
- A mall restaurant: check the floor; a food-hall counter can be a separate service format.
